The complete refurbishment of a top-floor duplex within a converted Victorian townhouse in Kentish Town, North London, became a considered exploration of materiality, light and spatial layering.
The studio approached the project as a dialogue between the original Victorian architecture, the clients’ art collection and their way of living. Scandinavian influences bring clarity and restraint, while colour, natural materials, sculptural furniture and bespoke detailing introduce warmth and individuality.
Art, furniture and architectural interventions sit comfortably together, creating a layered, expressive home that feels collected over time. Each space has its own identity, while a considered use of colour and material brings a sense of cohesion throughout the apartment.
